Megan Davidson, PhD, is the Associate Director of Innovation and Systems Impact at the National Association of State Injury Administrators (NASHIA). Megan has extensive experience leading complex projects and initiatives involving stakeholder and community engagement, research and evaluation, and technical assistance in the public sector through which she has supported many jurisdictions with the implementation of innovative efforts intended to improve outcomes for individuals involved in the criminal justice, behavioral health, child welfare, and related systems. As of 2023, Megan has become deeply involved in the brain injury field, applying her skills to advance efforts to strengthen how different systems identify and address brain injury. Most notably, in her role as Program Director at the Council of State Governments Justice Center, Megan led a national effort to identify and promote key recommendations centered around the intersection of brain injury and the justice system. Megan earned her PhD in Public Affairs with a Concentration in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida.
