Welcome to the NASHIA Innovation Center!

Research shows that individuals with brain injury who receive specialized, brain injury-informed support services experience significantly better outcomes, especially in states with coordinated systems of care. Despite growing interest among states and communities in reforming service delivery, many initiatives lack coordination, sustainability, and grounding in research.

NASHIA wants to fill that gap. Our Innovation Center will build on NASHIA’s existing successful programs to serve as a national hub for best practices, aligning research-based solutions with the real-world needs of communities

Mission

The mission of NASHIA’s Innovation Center is to develop and implement research-based service delivery models and maintain a national repository of information to improve systems of care so that all individuals with brain injuries thrive in their communities.

Goals

  • Develop comprehensive, research-based models of care to address unmet needs
