June 2025 | Member Learning Session
NASHIA members gathered on 6.18.25 for a Learning Session titled “How to Identify & Secure Alternative Funding.”
In the current, increasingly complex funding environment, programs providing supports and services must be both resourceful and strategic in order to sustain and expand their programs. As traditional funding streams face growing competition and limitations, it is essential to explore alternative avenues to ensure continued access to critical services for individuals being served with brain injuries.
This 90-minute session offers an overview of options and practical strategies for identifying, evaluating, and leveraging diverse funding sources beyond conventional grants and allocations. Examples and guidance on how to collaborate with state and federal partners are provided and, this session also highlights the technical assistance available through NASHIA, including tools that can support long-term sustainability planning and other key current updates affecting members.
To find the most up to date information regarding new resources and legislative activities, members should view recent publications from NASHIA like NASHIA News.
