Amanda Nieser joined NASHIA in May 2022. Her background includes work within the private and public sectors, from small business to Fortune 500. Amanda spent three years working in training and operations support at the Colorado Department of Education, Exceptional Student Services Office. Her specialties include marketing, communication, websites, and event and training project management.

Amanda works with NASHIA to provide technical and logistical support around all aspects of delivering virtual trainings and maintaining an active online presence. She leads many of NASHIA’s communications and publications design efforts, and also provides the administrative and technical support for the Online Brain Injury Screening and Support System (OBISSS). In her free time, Amanda volunteers for the Virginia Master Naturalists.

Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from University of Colorado, Denver, in Communication, with an emphasis in Public Relations.
