Member Learning Session: No Wrong Door (NWD) and the Critical Role of Systems Collaboration

NASHIA Members, please join us for an upcoming Member Session, NASHIA's periodic forum designed to keep members informed on timely and emerging issues. This session will spotlight No Wrong Door (NWD) and the critical role of systems collaboration in improving access and outcomes.

Topics will include:

  • The importance of cross-systems partnership, peer support/workforce development, and person-centered counseling as part of a No Wrong Door System

  • The disability focus within NWD and what it means to serve as a service access site

  • How brain injury programs can support upcoming Medicaid changes, including Community Engagement and Re-Enrollments

  • NWD’s connection to Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC)

  • Messaging strategies for brain injury programs to strengthen Medicaid-related infrastructure

  • Opportunities for collaboration with NWD community-based partners, such as Centers for Independent Living

This session will highlight how brain injury programs are uniquely positioned to contribute to—and benefit from—NWD initiatives, ensuring more inclusive and accessible systems for individuals with brain injury and other disabilities.

In addition, NASHIA will also provide updates on the federal and legislative landscape, including updates on funding opportunities and appropriations.

This Learning Session is for current NASHIA Members only. Members - check your inbox for your registration confirmation!
