HRSA-Funded Projects
D.C. was awarded a Planning Grant in 1997, an Implementation Grant in 1999, and Post-Demonstration Grants in 2002 and 2003. The 2003 Post Demonstration Grant was designed to address State capacity building initiatives that provide community services and supports to reflect best practices in the field of TBI. The focus included the development and implementation of a survey to identify the appropriate services for persons with TBI and their families, to develop a Resource Directory on the supports and services available to persons with TBI and their families, and to provide TBI awareness in-service training to service providers who care for elderly in two long-term care facilities in the D.C.
