Join NASHIA

NASHIA welcomes membership by state government agencies, state government employees, retired state government employees, supporting organizations, and all individuals who are interested in what happens in the field of brain injury nationally and at the state level. All members are entitled to receive newsletters, publications produced within the joining year of membership, notification of meetings, and a discount for registration at the annual State of the States in Head Injury Meeting. In addition, NASHIA provides Technical Assistance.

One of our key goals is funding for TBI programs authorized by the TBI Reauthorization Act. NASHIA will continue to be at the forefront to ensure funding levels needed to support and sustain state TBI programs as well as other to expand opportunities through other pertinent federal laws, agencies and programs.

FOR STATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND EMPLOYEES ONLY:

State Agency Membership ($1,000)
State agencies are entitled to three (3) memberships. The state agency shall designate three staff persons to represent the state agency or agencies. The state agency designees shall be eligible to vote and to hold office.

Full Individual Membership ($200)
For individuals who are employed by state or territorial government. Full Individual Members shall be eligible to vote and to hold office. Individual memberships are not transferable.

Retiree Individual Membership ($175)
For individuals who are retired from state or territorial government and not currently employed by a Supporting member organization. Retired Individual Members shall be eligible to vote and to hold office as an Emeritus member and participate and vote on task forces and committees. Individual memberships are not transferable.

FOR NON-GOVERNMENT INDIVIDUALS, AGENCIES, CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS:

Individual Associate Membership ($125)
A person who is NOT employed by state or territorial government but is interested in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, community integration and coordination of head injury services may belong to the Association under this category. An associate member cannot vote or hold office, but can participate and vote on task forces and committees. Individual memberships are not transferable.

Student Membership ($50)
For individuals who are attending school (high school/college). A student member cannot vote or hold office, but can participate and vote on task forces and committees. Student memberships are not transferable.

Supporting Membership (Gold $1,500 / Silver $1,000 / Bronze $500)
A non-state agency, organization, or corporation interested in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, community integration and coordination of head injury services may belong to the Association under this category. Supporting members have the same benefits as Individual Associate members. Categories of supporting membership are: Gold (3 memberships), Silver (2 memberships), or Bronze (one membership).

Benefactor ($2,000)
A person or organizations who is interested in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, community integration and coordination of brain injury services shall become a Benefactor Member for the calendar year when he or she contributes $2,000 or more to the Association.
