Conferences

NASHIA is known as a leader for professional education on traumatic brain injury and State and community service systems. Each year, for the last 21 years, NASHIA has hosted a national conference which is called the State of the States, or SOS. This conference is one of the premier brain injury conferences in the country and is attended by employees of States and Territories, providers, other professionals and members of state affiliates of the Brain Injury Association. In 2012, NASHIA is planning to hold its annual conference in conjunction with the National Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Conference sponsored by the National Association of States United in Aging and Disabilities. The NASHIA meeting and the HCBS conference are scheduled for the week of September 10-13, 2011, in Crystal City, Virginia. Stay tune for further information.
